Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Web/GTM analyst to help create data-driven marketing solutions for our clients. The responsibilities include implementing tracking via Google Tag Manager, thoroughly analyzing data, generating insightful analytics to help better understand its users, and reporting back with easy-to-understand data visualizations and clear solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and architect technical vision for web analytics implementation, testing, and reporting.
  • Serve as the “Tagging Architect” by evolving and managing the solution design reference documentation which outlines analytics variables, triggers, tags, and use cases across web properties and applications.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Create, manage, and enforce digital analytics tagging standards to ensure robust and consistent data is captured for analysis.
  • Develop and implement coding practices for site tagging and follow industry standards.
  • Develop custom solutions using JavaScript within Google Tag Manager for tracking user behavior with Google Analytics by manipulating data from JavaScript objects, HTML markup, URLs, and Cookies.
  • Test and validate the implementation of Google Analytics tagging changes throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Manage Google Analytics configurations including variables, classifications, and processing rules.
  • Translate Digital Product Managers’ questions into KPIs that can be measured by tracking user interactions on-site and within our mobile applications.
  • Implement third-party tagging with various vendors like - Demand base, LinkedIn, Facebook, On24, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.


Minimum Requirements

  • Proven 0-2 years of hands-on A/B, multivariate experimentation, and testing experience.
  • Familiarity with major web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Salesforce.
  • Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques meeting multiple large- and small-scale project deadlines
  • Great English verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, computer science, or other related fields.
